Well i was goin around a corner at like 35 mph i gave it a little gas and my rear end came out and i wacked a curbs edge like the curb just started. so hit the 90 degree angle part i bent my rear rim and my control arm. I went to work today and my fater and i rear welded the rim so far so good. But when i drove it home last night my steering wheel o is now not centered when im going straight its a lik 3 oclock andk also i didnt replace the COntrol arm i just banged it out to basically perfect but it doesn feel right it pulls on the high way. is my steerign wheel off because of the rear wheel or what i have a nother Control arm im going to try after i play with the alignment. ive banged the control arms stright before and never had an issue with them any help with anything would be great thanks guys

It sounds like you have a thrust angle problem. The rear points the car in one direction and you have to countersteer the go straight. The control arm may look straight but when aligned the wheels are adjusted by a tenth of a degree at a time, this is very exact.. You should get te control arm replaced and have your car aligned before you start eating tires.

i forgot to mention a few things my tires are balled ithink thats how it is spelled, that is why my rear end came out. the bar that bent on me is the 2 ft long two peace steel one i think its the control arm im not 100% sure though it about an inch by an inch and gets wider as it goes into the hub its not the subframe one fyi. umm i think that it once again thanks for the help

but my front alighnment shouldnt be affected by my rear hitting a curb right?
im just really anal about my steering wheel being crooked and am worried that something happend in the front or is it jsut the rear thats throwing it off?
GOD i hate thinking that something else might be bent it all jsut looks SO exensive to replace  :help:

Suspension parts should never be straightened when they get bent. This is asking for trouble as they are not engineered to be stressed this way. Throw away any bent part. You need to take the car in to get checked out end to end if your steering wheel is now off center.

If theres something bent in the back, its going to throw the alignement of the front off as well, as they are all aligned to each other.
