Has anyone repainted their wheels?

Has anyone had any luck painting their stock wheels? Mine are the ones you usually see on e36 m3's (not the contours) and I'm thinking about repainting them dark grey.



Does anyone have pictures?

We repaint them at work for repairs all the time, but not other colors.

Nope. They're the grey ones. I believe called double-spoke.

If they are stock color, its silver. If its gray, someone has painted them before.

I really really dislike powdercoating rims. Actually...most people dislike it overall if I remember all the old threads on it. do a few searches on powdercoat and see what people said.



I think one guy on here had it done and then was very unhappy about it and tried to sell them.

I have been thinking of doing this to my Evo alloys but after a quick conversation with BMW UK they have told me they are polished alloys, which cost a lot more to do :-(
