    header, trackpipe, and exhaust combination?!?!

Does anybody know the best header, trackpipe, and exhaust combination for an obdII E36 M3. Im looking for the lightest, cheapest and most powerfull system. Any suggestions?

AA is the only company that makes a trackpipe that has O2 Sensors as far as I know... and its expensive

      I would say none.

But if you must spend money, the SS headers, resonator, and cat back are nice. Or you can buy Jet Hot headers, aa track pipe, and and any catback of your choice.

Don't look for big power gains from any of these things. The 96+ cats flow really well, as do the headers. They are a waste with out cams or custom tuning. You can find better gains elsewhere.

          I would say none.

I totally second that thought, spend a little bit more and get some cams first, that will slam your neck back, full exhaust only....mmm just a little.

well, you can't just put cams in a OBDII car. You will need to use the Jim C. cam kit. www.sharked.com , its the best most complete kit there is.

Got the Turner ceramic coated headers (true equal length tubes), AA cat. back and track pipe together with custom AA ecm programing. Fit and finish are excellent from both aftermarket manufacturers.

The performance gains are certainly there to be harvested, but like "SG M3" stated, don't look for a miracle. Note though, that I am totally satisfied with the gains I've gotten, and they are better than I expected.

just to tell you a full exhuast on the E36 will cost around $2,000 because my thinking is 600 for the exhuast, another 600 for AA track pipe, then maybe 800 + or - some for good headers.

So cams will get you going faster then a full exhuast.
