    Need spring help.. H&R Sport

I just installed Bilstein Sports shocks front and rear and H&R sport spring part number 29910-2. This is for my 97 4door M3. And the back looks way to low. The car looked close to being level with the stock rear springs. Does anybody have any idea what going on? The rear spring part number is #29936HA(R). I have found some stuff on the web that says the rear springs are only #55 stiffer then stock. Should I just but the stock ones back there? :help:

NO, but it just does not look like I think it should. Also it could be hitting the bump stops in the rear. My factory CD player skipped three or four times this morning going to work. It has never done that. The ride is A LOT harder then stock. I put the fronts on first and the ride was a little firmer then stock. But now it feels like I have race spring in the car.

The ride is like my crx was with 500# rear springs.

It sounds like maybe you have the race springs and not the sport springs.

I talked to the folks at TMS (Turner Motorsports) recently and was told the

H&R (sport) springs will lower the FRONT ~1.5" ant the REAR ~1". This

would seem likely to preserve the stock "nose down" appearance.

        BTW, I have a '98 sedan

He has sports, but they gave you red rear spring correct? You need to use a thicker spring pad to raise it back up.

H&R has been selling thier sport springs with their coilover rear spring, its just too short. You need to use some 10mm spring pads to rise the car back up.

The ride quality is from the bilsteins.

Well I just got off the phone with H&R and they are going to send me some diffrent rear springs. He told me the BMW uses three diffrent spring and Three diffrent spring pads and it's hard to get a good match everytime. And if it is still to low I will use diffrent spring pads.

My car Was lowered 1 3/4 in the back. with the first set of springs I got.
