    I would suggest you do a search as there have been lots of threads in the past about this.

    Then, if you have any questions on particular plugs, ask away.

      I order all mine from www.sparkplugs.com

      NGK's are what I'm running now.

          I just got my NGK BKR6EQUP's in the mail today from Bimmerzone.com. I did a lot of searching before I ordered and the NGK's were the most recommended.

            NGK's platinums or whatever are the best.

                Here's a quick follow up on my new spark plugs;

                I installed the NGK BKR6EQUP plugs a couple weeks ago. When I removed the "old" plugs I saw that they were the Bosch Platinum 4's and they looked to be in excellent condition. So I put in the NGK's. The only difference I've noticed is that the car now has trouble idling when I first start it up (the rpm's will drop way down until the engine almost dies and then the rpms jump up and save it). With the Bosch plugs, the engine never sputtered once, not even on the coldest winter days. I'm considering putting the Bosch plugs back in.

                  :hmm: NGK's platinums, are what BMW here in europe put into the M3´s.

                  but order them at another place, as BMW add a lot of € to the price. :cry:

                    You're joking right?

                    The coils sit on the spark plugs, they drive the spark.

                      Stay stock. There is no significane advantage with these other spark plugs. The platinums will only burn hotter. Ask any good bmw mechanic and they will verify this.

                        Sounds like a bad connection between sparks and coils. If putting old sparks in doesn't help, you'll need to clean and/or replace connectors...

                          Thanks, I'll take that into consideration. Also, the NGK's came pre gapped, but could the gap be off? I looked at all of them before I put em in and they all appeared to have the same gap and I torqued them to the recommended setting.
