I have just purchased a 1997 M3 coupe and would like to know what I should look for in tire and wheel size for winter wheels. I think 16" are a given with some sort of all-season tire on them. I have seen a lot of 325, 325 and Z3 wheels on ebay but don't know what to look for for size and bolt pattern. So far I have found this forum very helpful, in fact I just reprogrammed my remote from a post on this forum. Thanks in advance, Randy.

Run some searches and you will see that only a few 16 inch wheels will work. After that there are a few good choices in tires. Be prepared to spend between $600 and $1000 for a complete set. It is worth it if you plan on driving through the winter. Get dedicated winter tires if you are going to get a second set of rims.
