I did not, mainly because his asking price was about 5k more than I've been looking to spend. Still... it was *exactly* the car I've been looking for and the low mileage was enviable.





I guess I'm just not quite ready to make the jump yet. Probably another month or so. Crossing my fingers to find the right car on the market at that time. Yeah, I'm about 30-45 minutes from Lancaster, I'd be interested in coming to check out (meaning drool over...) your car whenever the craziness of moving is out of your way. :thumbsup:

None of the rest of us were even remotely excited to pick up our M cars for the first time. I know I was like "G0d Damnit...I HAVE to pick that fuking thing up TODAY!! Je$us, can't you guys just deliver it or something?? I have a hair appointment. Do you guys realize HOW LONG I had to wait to get into this salon??!! I don't think so!!"

Yep.. we've all been there, that first moment when you see your new gal. There's nothing like when you first sit in her, start her up, and listen to that M Power moan with anticipation!! I picked up mine at midnight, half asleep beforehand.. then was totally awake and giddy watching her roll off the delivery truck.. hot DAYUM!!! hehe... my girl and I rode her back from the pickup point, and man.. what can I say? Basically, there's only a few things in life better than driving the M, and those I can't say here due to forum rules...

to answer the question way back on the first page that i missed before, i was talking 0-60. i don't have 1/4 mile times for the 968 off the top of my head. but that distance is only going to grow. the 968 has much less aggressive gearing and quite a bit less torque than our cars as well, IIRC.

i'm definitely happy to have the car..but the guy i bought it from wasn't too upset. He was getting ready to buy a 93 ferarri testorossa...so understandably, he was excited.
