just wondering whats the fastest anyones done in there E36 ?



i did about 170mph i think, as the needle was hitting the mark, the rvs were about 6500rpm. In sixth.

i 'm gonna right now and try what the other motor will do now. just wondering Ne1 ever feel scared driving at that speed. I certainly felt nervous.

I've not gone too fast(maybe 110 with the top down), but my hubby had it up around 155 or so.

want to see nerves, jump on a fast bike and go racing. well into triple digit speeds, leaned over with guys 12 inches from you. still safer than street stuff, that's for sure!

Redline on my US spec M3 is 7000rpm.

And to answer your question my fastest speed was about 125mph. Only did that once. Scared the crap outta myself.

Went close to 130 on the ///M3.



Yesterday, just when I started to ease off on the throttle, my speedometer was reading 141 (on my '04 Gxsr)......now, that was pretty freakin' scary.



On the other hand, my friend sold his 700hp Supra last year (twin turbos)....he took me to 155mph on the 71 freeway.....I had to change my underwear after. Check out the supra on the pic below....he sold it for 40k. :thumbsup:

Mines is a Euro Evo, it has a 6spd box and redlines at 7400rpm, but because its been de-restricted i'm sure it redlines at 7500.



Alli a 110 with the top down with the top down is def. crazy !



Just took my mate for a joyride in my nissan, and he was sh!tting it he was whining 2 about 110mph then he just shut up and waited till i told him to take a photo of the speedo. I hit 170 mph and that was only at 6000 rpm! i still have 2600rpm 2 go! I was pretty impressed with the car it was definatly more stable than the M3 at high speeds.



i no someone will say the speed i went isn't fast but i've only had this car three days and dn't really know how it will behave, also it is nighttime ( ie pitch black) and secondly this was on a public road which is only 2 lanes wide. Also when a flash goes off even though ure expecting it it still takes away some of ure concentration.

mmmm...... skyline.. so fast. In a street car 170 is fast. i had my M3 up to 138 once (governor), no desire to really do it again. After i finished doing it, i for some reason started to think of all the things that could have gone wrong. Anyways fastest ive gone is 165 in my fashas 928, was 18 at the time and foolish.

I got'r up to 140 before I ran out of road. I think I will beat that someday though!

I got up to around 135 or so. She wanted more. I wasn't scared at all. The car was really stable.
