Tachometer Question

Do the E36 M3s, namely the 95's have the little lights that progressively go away as the engine warms And has the little shift light and having all the lights light up when you reach the redline. I was 100% sure they did until someone insisted they didnt so, now i dont know.

I have a '95 and it definitely doesn't have the tach lights that move the redline as the engine warms up. I think that's a newer feature.
