    LOWJACK? Anyone?

Instead of getting a noisy alarm, im considering Lowjack? Looking for some input or suggestions... :hmm:

i just got a new m3 this past week and my house has been robbed twice so i definitely think its worth the $800 investment, the dealership just added 15 bucks extra to my lease but you dont pay a monthly charge you just pay a one time fee in my opinion its worth it

It should make your insurance rate go down too.

Would you really want the car back if it's stolen?

        Sometimes I question that.

I think the alarm and Lo-Jack serve two different purposes.

Lo-Jack is meant to recover the car if someone steals it.

The alarm is meant to draw attention to the car if someone breaks in to steal your CDs, stereo, etc.

Since BMW's are more difficult to steal than most other cars because of the chip in the key, I tend to think that Lo-Jack would be less necessary than a regular alarm.

If you feel you need Lo-Jack, I would say do it in addition to, not instead of a regular alarm.
