HELP : Removing Dashboard / Console...

Hi all....



My car came with an OEM Cell Phone fitment. But its an old phone, I have a kit for my current phone and want to use it on the same base.



For this i must just swop the old bases cables.



Problem is theyre unter the centre console..



Anyone got diagrams of how to Gently remove the part where the OBC is .. all i need is to take a peek and see where the phone´s kit cables are...



I do prefer to know the tricks.. as i´ve had some headaches dismounting previous cars ....

Here is a link for removing the OBC. Step 1 is what you need.

After you have removed the OBC, then the pocket and button assembly can be removed by pulling up and out gently. Shoudl get you what you need.

Put your hand in the sun glass holder, and feel the bottom of the OBC. There'll be a hole in the sun glass holder that will allow you to put your finger up into it, and push on the back of the OBC.



As you push it out, theres three 'clips' on the top, front section of the OBC that holds it in place. Use a small flathead to move the clips out of the way. After the OBC pops out, the sun glass holder just pops out, lift up and rotate.

Speaking of the OEM Cell Phone, is there any kit that will remove the phone and mounting bracket and have some cup holders there? Coming from my 323i, I really miss my cup holders.. :cry:
