Poor AM Radio Reception

I have the HK Business Radio w/ changer. Is it just me, or is the AM reception extremely poor? I live in San Diego and I get 2 stations, and that's barely. Everything is pure static. FM reception is good, but AM is shameful. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ahhh. Check the connections in the junction box on the left c-pillar. The aerial in the rear glass connects there. Its behind the trim.

Are your windows tinted? That messes up most of the lower AM band.
