Just have to vent, as I mentioned in another thread I installed a center armrest today. I needed to go to Napa to get some bolts, and I decided to take my parents Tracker since my M was all torn up. I was not even 4 miles from my parents home when I got pulled over. The cop acted like I was just going to get a warning, but he came back with a ticket. 36 in a 30. I am pretty frelling PO'd about this one. I have never even been pulled over in my M3 let alone ticketed in it, then my first time driving one of the wimpiest vehicles I can think of, this happens. Sort of PO's me, because if I am going to get a ticket, I at least want it to have been worth it, i.e. if I had gotten a ticket for going 80 in a 70 around a 40mph corner, that would make it feel ok. Anyway, the cop was a prick. I have been pulled over for going 15 over and had the cop just tell me to slow down and move on. Made me want to go home and get my M3 and then go screaming by him at about 80 so that I could tell him "now THIS is a ticket. See the difference?!". Anyway, again I just had to vent.

Neither did I. In fact I didn't believe it when the previous owner told me it was an AC chip since I had never heard of it. I have opened up the ECU unit and seen it with my own eyes, and it does indeed say AC Schnitzer on it. I have searched all over the internet for it, but have never found where to purchase one, so I really have no clue about it other than my car has one, and my redline is now 7k, so I know its doing something . . .

the thing that also really bites me is the fact that when he walked up, he made smalltalk, asking if I had a job, which I told him I had just gotten back from Glacier National Park where I am tour guide in the summers, and that I did not currently have a job as a result. So he ticketed me after asking me if I had a job and knowing that I do not currently. I had just moved back, and was driving a vehicle I had never driven before, so I was still adjusting the vehicle, and was driving a road that was new to me. Also, this ticket will cause problems for me and my job in Glacier (which I plan on returning to next season) because I drive a tour bus with people on it and give guided tours. My CDL doesn't look good if you have lots of speeding tickets. This gives me two in 3 years. My last one was a 66 in a 60 in my old 300ZX. What PO'd me about that one is that I was going downhill in a line of cars, I was the 3rd car in the line, and guess who the cop chose out of the line . . .
