    Clutch for FI?

I currently have stock clutch, and am not running FI, but I do plan on putting in a twin screw SC next year. My question is would a LTW flywheel with the m5 clutch be enough to handle this? I really don't want to have to go to a true racing clutch, I don't want a grabby sintered clutchplate. Anyway, I estimate I would be running 400 crank HP. The sintered clutch disks I have looked at imply they are for 600+ hp. Anyway, what is the limit of the m5 clutch?

well remember.. the M5 clutch is able to hold 400hp with alot of torque behind that.. im going to assume its a 500hp clutch... at the bare minimum.. so therefore i think it would be ok to use the M5 clutch in FI conditions..

Will the E39 M5 clutch bolt up to our cars? I thought only the E34 clutch does... :hmm:

well, yeah, I was referring to the E34 clutch, as that is the one that I have seen used in the UUC kit for instance. Anyway, I just really hope that the E34 M5 clutch can handle 400hp and 330 lb ft of torque because I hate the toggle switch nature of racing clutches.

you can always use the sach m5 power clutch or a spec stage I.

Honestly, the stock clutch is more then enough for almost any setup according to my tech and Pete Stoppani who has probably the best setup E36 M3 race car I've ever seen. This one:
