I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-p850mp (very similar to the 8400). Two jl audio 10w3v2 in an enclosed box (ported takes up to much room IMO), powered by a jl audio 500/1 amp. I got all this for around $1500. All my mids and highs are the stock Hk's. With a good headunit such as a pioneer and many others u can adjust the stock speakers to actually sound crystal clear. I would recommend jl audio products to anyone that asks, i have had many different models and not had a complaint about any, they have about the best sound quality i have heard. The only problem i have with my system now is that the M3 dose have more things that rattle inside the car than i had hoped, but sooner or later that will be fixed.

I don't beleive the Nak is XM ready, meaning it will not control an XM radio, and you would have to run your XM through the FM reciever... Kinda lame for the day and age....
But the Nak name demands respect
It has Aux input as the person above me stated, much better sound q.
Haven't heard of any reliability problems with the Nak...?
