How is this SSK for the E36 M3? Thinking about getting one from a friend of mine...good idea or not?

which UUC? buddy of mine has an EVOII and mine is an EVOIII - differences are

not that drastic between the 2 units. my EVOIII is height adjustable and was installed

with the delrin bushings that UUC offers, not as much vibration felt as the EVOII.

overall - both units perform the job of short, weighted throws well.

Happy w/ mine. A bit notchy, but that could very well be my POS tranny.

Happy w/ mine - do the DSSR and a SS knob and the shifts are almost effortless.

I think I have the UUC evo 2... really notchy.. ask Astan, he felt it. I like it though.

I need to replace all the bushings underneath though....

Yeah, Trevor's kit was super notchy, but I'd still trade my stock shifter for it. I hate the long throws.

HOWEVER...the EVO 3 is supposed to feel great out of the box and not nearly as notchy...a night a day diff. supposedly.

Not to high jack the thread, but would the ssk's being sold work for 6 speed trannies?
