Its not so so impressive when you learn that the Black Turbo m3 (not the film car) costs $60-65k to duplicate (+ the cost of the car).
The guy driving is the guy who will build you the same setup for that price..built motor, clutch, gauges, new rear suspension, etc etc. (George of Imported Cars in Stamford, Connecticut)
The kit bases off of an AA Stg. 3 Turbo kit.
Granted you get 550-600rwhp, and its a proven kit he has run on that car for awhile.

By the cost of the car, seems like it would be more worth your money in comparison of a Viper. (Not considering that the Viper would get spanked by this thing.) But that's just me.
Yes, thats true you get more car in my opinion with the m3 than you do for the same price with the viper, and the M3 would eat the viper for lunch, but....
You dont get that $60K back when you sell it..you might get $10k from a real enthusiast..but asking $70k for it after you finish would be unfathomable...thats only saying the car cost you $10k.
If i had the money I dont know if I would do it. I might, but I type this from my dorm room, saving every penny hoping to get forced induction this summer at a cost of $7k instead of $60k (granted ill only have 350rwhp  )
It would be cool to be able to lose traction in 3rd or 4th gear just by easing the pedal down as you see in those videos.
If you paid $35k for a really clean example of a tt supra..and then dropped another $35k into it....it would absurd...like 1000rwhp absurd.
I know they dont handle as well as an m3...but if you are willing to forefit some handling youcan go with a crazy stiff coilover and make it seem to handle pretty damn well..
This is why i need to make absurd amounts of money because I already have these projects planned for myself :
In no particular order:
1) Porsche 951
2) TT Supra
3) 911 TT
4) olds 442 (1968)
5) drag ready fox body mustang (wheelie bars and absurd drag slick tucked into mini-tubs in the rear)
Thats a mini list...I could make it much much longer.
that is fuggin nuts... i don't know if i could handle that much power.. but that just shows you that the block can handle the power.. but to me.. 400rwhp is plenty.. maybe even 350rwhp.. yikes!
