Bosch or Valeo Alternator?? ( NEED HELP! )

Failed inspection :bs: due to bad belts. But anyways I am going to get the UUC Full E36 pulley kit installed at the same time. But UUC needs to know if I have a Bosch or Valeo alternator. I cannot tell just by looking at it, so is there any other way to find this info out? My build date is 07/94.

Hmmm - I can see the Valeo label on mine if I look on the side of the alternator w/o removing it. I think UUC might have had some info w/ regards to build dates on their site?

Anal inspection place if they looked at belts... I have to get mine done by thursday.. I have a feeling I'll be putting my US spec lamps back in the car for an hour or so :P

thanks god they aren't that anal here.. just a smog check and that it..
