    Suspension Question??

Well first off my 97 m3 has 81,000 miles on it and im about to drop a lot of green on it. It is due for the 80,000 mile checkup and know I need to replace my rsm and my front left spring because it snapped! also need to replace at least one rear shock, and my brakes are squeking bad, but there fine plenty of pad??? Could this be because of the broken spring?

Long story short I think im going to just replace the whole suspension.

Do you guys think it is worth the investment to get coilover's? Or just stick with shock's strut's and springs?

See pic-could this have been creating a lot of my problems in my suspension?

Could that be causing major issues?

You must drive your car real aggresive. You should maybe tone that down untill you get new suspension.

Thats an hr spring correct. Have you contacted them about getting a new one? Contact who you bought them from also, there should be some sort of warranty on them.

there should numbers stamped on the spring itself - write to H&R and see if you

could get a replacement. a friend of mine got his rears replaced due to coil

bind and eventual coil collapse / failure. my fronts had a bit of bind as well -

replaced them with Eibach pro-kit, no issues so far.
