I'm having a lil' trouble finding a quality independent mechanic in Sacramento to do an inspection on a possible purchase. I'm from Southern Cali, so I'm not familiar with the area up there. Any suggestions? Thanks.

..and I know a great one! Take it to Peformance Motor Works (Independent BMW Specialist)...they're out in Rocklin (80E towards Reno, exit Rocklin rd, they have a map on their website I think)
They do everthing the stealer does for half price and they are very well known in the area for doing a great job. Inspection II runs $480. Only drawback is they are M-F.

I've been lookin for one in the Southeastern PA area...but i called Faulkner BMW in Lancaster and they wanted a bit over $400 to do Inspection II. I guess that's a pretty good price?Comment

I think it is....I priced all 4 dealers in the area and they run anywhere between 700-800 for Inspection IIComment
