Did a search with little results so here goes.



Can you all post some info if you have a aftermarket steering wheel on you M3. Please include:



1) PICS

2) price & brand

3) pros/cons

4) installation +/-

5) street or track use



Dont get me wrong, I love the stock steering wheel, but I am 6'4" and with no tilt, its a PITA sometimes. Whatcha guys got :hmm:

I'm 6'5 and I haven't had any problems with the stock wheel. Of course, I do have the seat further back than Snoop Dogg in his 64 Impalla. :hmm:



Don't worry though, it's not by choice, it's how I fit in the car.

i'm 6'7" and i am fine with the wheel. yes some times i hit my knee with my hand but only when i am an ass hat.

I am interested in a new one as well. I want one smaller, but the thought of not having an airbag kinda worried me.

friend of mine with an M3/4 has the Raid setup. feels great, but too small

IMO. it has an airbag, so no safety issues there. drove it - but his Recaros

still lack the height adjust, and the wheel just felt too small. he tracks the car, and he really likes the setup. i'll try 2 take pics tomm.

Yes I agree, but maybe a harness type seat belt, the need for a airbag would be reduced? I had a blast driving a buddy's 95 with a we'little MOMO streering wheel. But I didnt like the color ( gray ) and texture ( rough ). It felt like I was playing gran-turismo on PS2!....

Personally, I think this wheel is awful looking. I have seen other that really like this wheel for some reason, but frankly, I can't stand it! I think I would rather have the stock wheel over that one.

I am picking up this wheel+ HUB so it just pops right off for $100 this weekend. The seller said I might need a plug adapter for the horn. Anyone know the part #? Any objections?!?
