anyone have rubbing issues with the rear, with the rear tucked? when i mean tucked i mean the whole tire tucking and a bit of rim.

Mine used to be lowerd about an inch, I had 8.5's all around, no issues. But alot has to do with rim offset also.

I have a 98 m3 sedan with staggered wheels. 7.5 front and 8.5 rear with no problems at all.

realllly. I wasn't sure about this but was also just told wrong when I was about to buy rims the other day online....(not tire rack). So the same would apply to 18" rims, right, as 18x7.5front and 18x8.5 rear?

My last set were 18x8.5's. Not sure what the offset was, but I could only run 225/40/18's on them. Any wider and I would start to rub.

ah thanks. Well for now, i decided to save some money till later and just go with 17" snow tires on stock rims. Glad I didn't buy over the past few weeks like i planned.
