Wierd noise from M3 ?.. Power steering

I am hearing a wierd noise from my M3 especially when I turn the car. The noise increases when I increase rpms, not the speed of the car.

Its a screeching.. you guys think its the power steering?.. if so any advice how to fix it?

Check power steering fluid. Located to the right of the engine (driver side). You have to stick your hand inside the engine compartment. The cap looks like a star. Unscrew the cap, and it has its own built in dip stick.

Look for possible leakage around the hose ends.

might wanna peep power steering fluid level (refer to manual for specific instructions)... if it gets low, it's possible for it to 'moan', most noteably when wheel is completely turned. Check lines / seals for seapage (common on older models). Definitely give the belts a good once over. Possible to appear good, but can end up being cracked & worn on closer inspection. Good luck
