I have read several hundred posts/replys about all the different exhausts for our cars, and they are simply too expensive. I have looked at all the different vendors and every pic I can find, and see no reason they cost that much. I can have my exhaust sponsor put together pretty much any system I want for less than cost of materials (app. $120-200). The question is, what size should i use, and how much back pressure do I want? I am doing a complete header back system and will be installing a cat with new o2 sensors. BTW I am new to the M3 (proud owner as of 11/12), and need some guidance. 95 cosmos coupe.

hold on your cars sponsered? Why wouldnt you just buy an already tuned exhuast for the e36 rather than custom making one? I understand cost but if your are sponsered i dont understand why they wouldnt just pay the extra bucks in order to have an already tuned system.
