M3 Stock Suspension?

I just bought a 1998 M3 off of eBay from a reputable dealer who said it has a Dinan Stage 3 suspension upgrade. It just looks stock to me, though. What comes stock on an M3? How can I know for sure?

OK. Here's the photos of the shocks and springs. I think the Dinan ones are supposed to be Konis?

Looks OEM to me. You got OEM struts and shocks at least. Springs look OEM also.

I am afraid you were misled ... The Dinan Stage 3 suspension kit comes with Koni adjustable shocks (they are yellow). Sirius is right. Those are OEM parts. You can also check your front shock towers. If you have a Dinan Stage 3 setup you will have camber plates. If you just bought your car I will take it back and demand some sort of refund. Probably $1000 - $1500 would be fair based on what a true Dinan setup would cost.

Dinan Stage 3 suspension will be about $2000.00 according to dinan's website.
