    Hella Celis Auto Leveling Headlamps

Does anyone know how the auto leveling headlamps work in the Hella Celis version of their E36 headlamps? Is it a complicated unit ?

I decided not to get it, but I the guy that works on my car installed one and said it was a total PITA (3-4 hours, and he's a mechanic). The levelling unit goes in the trunk, and sends signals to the headlamp to change the angulation of the light. A much cheaper/easier solution is to go w/ the Hella lights and up-grade to HIDs through Umnitza (and just forget about autolevelling).

I'm a little confused about how the umnitza upgrade would work though. If theres high beam and low beam, is their four Xenon bulbs? How does the low beam work in comparison to the high beam?

Does the umnitza kit have everything i need to install plug and play?

Umnitza's kit is typically for two bulbs. So two kits total would be required for high beams and low beams, though HIDs for the high beams are out of control IMO, and I'm not sure the stock Hella's w/ HIDs include them for the high beams. Very easy plug-n-play w/ same bulb type (H7).
