Guess my tires didn't come soon enough...

But I know they'll be at my door, when I get home from work though. It doesn't really matter because I wrecked the M today at lunch. I made a left hand turn, the roads were wet and just spun out, tried to counter steer, but to no avail; Over the median, into another car's door I go. It's definitely not totalled, but it's going to cost a pretty penny to fix. Both passenger side rims: toast, rear suspension: ugly, front plastics/fendor: screwed, southern MD body shop: slow as balls. So I pretty much want to kill myself and call it a day.

Oh yeah, also racked up a $275 negligent driving ticket, just to widen my smile But the cop said that he "had to" give me the ticket and just go court and it will "get dropped". Has anyone had experience this before, and gotten out of it. I was very surprised to get the ticket :nixweiss: ...God have mercy on my soul.

sorry about your luck man, i live in harford co. maby i could let you drive mine if you get m3 withdrawal, but only when its dry, lol jk man

im thinkin that with the ticket you tell that you have a clean record (if you do) if not, tell them you were havin a bad day, you had ordered new tires and they were on their way, and just make up a whole lot of b.s. because thats how all my friends got out of tickets was from just fillin their story with b.s.

        Ugh.. I know the feeling...

Slide one way, over corrected and totalled my M3 two weeks ago.... I was on a twisty side road, and ended up over a 35ft embankment. Not good.

I was happy to walk away! Glad you're ok.

          Sorry to hear it man.

About the ticket..... In Colorado, by law your vehicle must be under your control at all times regardless of the conditions. If you hit a patch of ice and skid off the road, you get a ticket by law. Maybe Maryland is the same way.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully she comes out of the body shop better than before. Not a bad time to fix a few extras (like painting bumper. etc.)

As for told by prophecy...my new tires were at the front door when I arrived home from work...oh well, I'll run with the consequences and once again pay for sh!t that ?maybe? could have been avoided. All I know is it could have been alot worse, honestly if I was going any faster, I could've flipped right on top of the car I hit; I mean for how low my car is, and how big that median was, and how far I traveled across yonder median, man....No one hurt, no m3 for a bit, new rim/tires, new front, god help my suspension, and hopefully the back bumper to boot. It just sucks to have to spend $500 on the deductible when there's an $650 exhaust laying in your basement...I'll try to post some pics, just to further hurt my soul and everyone elses, I'll especially try to get the money shot of my rear shock dangling on the ground. :banghead:

As for ticket, the cop said that he didn't have substantial evidence to prove the negligence charge, so I'd get off. The woman was super cool, and we started bs'in about work and property value, so I'm pretty sure things will work out in that aspect.

Anyways, thanks for the support and if I don't holler, everyone have a nice Thanksgiving,

                Peace, GaryO
