Turning an E36-M3 into a toad

I'd like to take my 1998 M3 (manual) with me as a towed vehicle (toad) behind an RV. I don't see that anyone makes towbar brackets for the E36 M3. So . . . . I'm curious to know if anyone has experience in turning an M3 into a toad.

A toad? As in a frog???

You should get a trailer that pulls behind the RV that allows you to park the car on the trailer.

I'd like to use an RV mounted tow-bar and attach brackets to the M3. I'm trying not to carry an extra trailer or towing dolly around with me.

Hmm. The only places I know you can safely two an E36 is either supported and straped to the rear suspension, with that off the ground, or to a flatbed of sorts with the car strapped down via the tires. I can't rememebr if the E36 has holes in the rockers for hooks and straps.

I sure hope you've got good mud flaps...

No, then you have to tow it on the rear wheels, and thats not recommended.

If you tow theses cars, its either flat bed, or on the front wheels. Anything else, you risk damaging the driveline componets.
