Took about 5 minutes to install. Dang, what a sweet looking knob. I love the look of the illumination. Great touch. Highly recommend their work.

well, I tried to take pictures, but I was not able to hold the camera still enough for the illuminated shots, so instead of a nice illuminated shift pattern, it was a furry red blob. So just go here (http://leatherz.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=01&Product_Code =ModifiedIlluminatedShiftKnob&Category_Code=Interi or) . I actually purchased my chrome/leather knob last summer. However, I wanted mine illuminated, so I contacted LeatherZ and he modified mine to illuminate. Highly, highly recommend. Andy at LeatherZ does great work.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work with an SSK. The wires are routed internally on the knob, so they do not interefere with the pressure fit of the knob onto the shaft. Also, there was more than plenty of wire included, so you can make sure that you route the wire such that there is not undue tension on the wires.
