Different rated tires on at same time...

i tried to keep my Z rated (toyo T1s) as my front tires, then get shitty H rated nexen something or other as my new rear tires. the guy at les schwabb said it was too unsafe and the car would drive out of control, so i had to get 4 shitty nexen H rated tires. Would it have been out of control if i used the two different rated tires? if not i still have the t1s and will put them on.

PS i dont really care about performance because i have my special set of racing wheels and tires for when i track it.

well i dont know about for the m3's but my friend did this on his 87 supra, and the only problems he ran into was that the back end would kick out and skip along around turns, or if you hit a bump, it would kinda wag like a tail on a dog, which did prove to be very unsafe, mind u he was trying to expect the same out of these shytie tires as his good ones, but for just regular driving you would be fine, or like we did, burning them off with doughnuts...thats pretty safe too
