    clutch/flywheel help

Any suggestions for a clutch/flywheel setup on a 99 e36 m3? Anyone tried the UUC stage II setup with an e34 M5 clutch?

Well, the stock cluch is more than enough for everything, unless you go really high in the powerranage with F/I.

If you don't plan on putting a crank pulley on; I have heard the UUC stage II setup is excellent.

I just got the car yesterday and don’t plan to do engine work right away. It needs a clutch and suspension work at the moment. If the car works out fine I will increase the power but no F/I. I want to install a ltw flywheel that will not chatter.

Any suggestions on shocks and springs?

BTW: Nice ride if that is your car on the sig.

just get a UUC ltw or fidanza flywheel & OEM clutch. or for a little bit more confidence, a street/strip clutch

for springs - H&R, eibach are nice

        for shocks - bilstein, H&R, or koni's

or if you have extra cash laying around, invest in coilovers

It looks like UUC Stage 2 Flywheel is the way I'll be going. Anyone have any experience with Koni coilovers?

btw, after all these holiday gifts, I'm almost broke.

the UUC stg2 setup is the way to go.

Koni coilovers are nice, i've had them. Height adjustable only in the front, rear is not adjustable. All 4 corners are rebound adjustable. Car had a great ride.

Thanks, that's probably what I'll get. You say you had them, what do you have now?

I just installed the UUC Stage 2 flywheel and the E34 M5 clutch, haven't even driven on it yet. will let you know.

You know you can't run the stage 2 flywheel with the OE clutch I hope.
