Making D2S bulbs fit in H1 housings...

Hey guys,



I might change to some ZKW's soon, but I still have some OE Phillips bulbs with Hella/Phillips ballasts from a 5 series. They are D2S and I don't know of any current projectors that use the size...other than older Bosch models.



Can I modify the ZKW's to fit the D2S bulbs or what?



I don't know too much about the whole process, so someone drop some knowledge on me.

That may be tricky. D2S bulbs are completely different than H1's. I don't think it it would work very well.

It's possible with a dremel and some patience. I used the same parts on my last E36. Just make the right notches so the D2S bulb base sits flush against the projector housing. Bend the clip tabs that hold the H1 bulb in around the back. Worked great once it was all done.
