CA Smog w/ M50 Intake

I am considering the M50 Intake, but I live in CA with the emission laws. I heard you can not get your car smogged if you have the M50 Intake manifold. Anyone here successfully get your car smogged in CA with this?

Just find a little corner smog place, and offer them a few extra bucks, you can tell the shady places from the legit...disclaimer, this is only what I have heard, I don't practice this
