one more question: I have the cosmos intake on my ///M... but it does not allow for the intake temp sensor, what is the best way to re-attach this? Just drill a ~3/8" hole and silicone it or...???

Leave it off. That might be only for 95s...but we all zip-tie ours off.

I have a 95, but why leave it off? I don't quite understand. Wouldn't you want the computer to know that you are getting a denser air charge so it can compensate with more fuel? Or, do you just rely on O2 sensors... don't quite understand... may have to read more.

Your HFM is what reads the amount of air entering the engine and then supplies the correct amount of fuel. I am not certain but I dont believe your air charge is going to be that much denser due to a cold air intake.

You could absolutely try and reconnect the hose but it probably is more difficult than you think, and considering no aftermarket CAI companies reuse the sensor...I dont think it has an adverse effects.
