    Detailed the Avus M3

    hey guys,

just thought i'd post some pics after i detailed my '95. i guess she still looks good for having 96k miles on her. this was actually the first time i was able to wash/wax her in two weeks. STUPID NJ WEATHER!!! yeah, and i detailed this yesterday thinking it wasn't going to snow until thursday, but OH NO!! we're suppose to get 1-3 inches tonight!!

    I HATE NJ WEATHER!!!!

sorry for the rant. anyway, here are the pics. enjoy!

*oh, and for some reason this question always seems to be asked when i post pics so here's the answer. i use meguiars trim detailer for my moldings.

Your car looks awesome!! Avus is a great color. I think I change my vote from Estoril being my favorite (I have Alpine, which has grown on me, but is not the best.)

                Mike,

do you use a Porter Cable when you detail cars?

How much time would you say it saves over doing everything by hand if you do use one??

                Thanks and it looks great.

The euro plate looks awful, other than that it's a really nice car.

Really nice! I hit the molding every time I wash too with Meguiers Back to Black, hope it's as sweet as yours after 10 years...

using the buffer saves me a GREAT DEAL OF TIME.

unfortunetly I have to keep my car outside while my parents get the garage. i guess it's for the best (keep the 545i and the z4 warm).

                            thanks for the compliments guys!

                            build date is 11/94
