Exhaust and Torque Loss Question -

I'm looking to purchase a new exhaust but my mechanic warned me not to get one that has less torque in the low RPM range. He reminded me that the low RPM pull is one of best things about our cars. I've been looking at the AA Gen III and Stromung...... but I have found different claims. Any help would be much appreciated from those who know these cat backs. - thanks

Most common aftermarket free-flow exhausts have showed small (and fairly insignificant) gains. Mostly a new exhaust is for looks and/or sound. Either of those exhausts are popular and generally well-regarded.

both are fine exhausts, your not going to lose any low end torque with those exhausts. now a track pipe yes.

personally i would go with AA over stromung because i think stromung sounds horrible.
