On my 1997 M3 the sliding/tilting bar on the large center vent broke in two and is now in the glove box. It is made of some cast metal. My wonder before I take to the shop is how much of the vent has to be replaced or is just the metal adjustment bar replaceable? How much of hte dash needs to be disambled? I am in no way looking to do this myself, but rather, I'd like to know how much or how little BS I will hear.
