My dings are about 2/3 bigger than a quarter, so that sounds too big. I don't see how the glue could scratch, nor pull off the paint. Probably the best bet is paintless dent removal from the inside. The experts can really do some impressive dent removal.
there are two attachments for the "Plung It" one for the sink (small!!!) and one for the toilet (big).......try the sink one and let me know what happens!

I'll keep my eye out for this product, but we don't have LOWES in Canada. Perhaps Home Depot has it.
There is a decent description of Paintless Dent removal in the latest issue of European Car. Les Bidrawn had a guy do his Corrado for $250 and apparently it came out beautifully he said. (its in the Project Corrado section of the magazine)
I think Paintless dent removal is what I would use....the guys are good and much cheaper than a body shop.
Trust me those ding things do not work on our cars. I brought on from this " as seen on TV" store at a local mall for 25 buck. It was called the ding king. I tried it on my door about six time with no sucess. The glue that you put on the pulling mechanis, is not strong enough. It dosent mess up the paint either, but anyways don't bother. I guess its because our cars are made with REAL metal, and not fiberglass like hondas, and economy class cars.
hmmm... I hear fiberglass and I think corvette... you got a problem corvette's?
it's not that those cars have fiberglass bodies - just thinner metal... surely that's what you meant? : ) that stuff would definitely not work on fiberglass...
