Ok guys my friend has a 95 325i cabrio. One day his top just crapped out on him. I changed the control module and the switches for the top and it still isn't working.....anybody has any ideas?

Dealer has just changed my control unit too and it still doesn't work
Why can't the unit be recoded? I have had to buy the part from them....
My motors are also okay, new microswitches in June.
