Thanks guys! Of course it's raining here now, so the car is trashed again, but such is life in the Northeast. :/

CMT, just curious but do you know of any good body shops near Revere/Boston? I have a prob with my trunk lock; it ripped part of the body apart and is just hanging inside of my trunk door (wont lock!). I need to fix it ASAP at a body shop... Do you know of any good places that I could take it to and not be ripped off for a shitty job?

Definitely Foreign Motors West! From what i have seen of their work on Carmen (Wizegi//M3) and Vitolo's cars, you will be 10000% satisfied!

          CMT,

What happened to your wheels, front lip spoiler, and rear spoiler? Did I miss something, or do you just take them off for winter?

I run the 17"x7.5" 95 M3 wheels in the winter as they are suited for the 225 series Nokian snow tires that are absolutely critical for the snow we get. I also blasted the front cf splitters apart when I kissed a curb last season, so that was the end of THAT little front end experiment - I am just happy that I did not get the much more expensive front lip from ACS as I had planned, because the $300 or so that I paid for the lip I had was a lot less of a tragedy that dropping the full grand.

The Hartge wing is at the body shop, being repainted for the 05 season. I figured I would take it off so it wouldn't be a big rear snow-scoop in the winter, and then it got scratched all to hell laying around the shop (just like they told me it would :rofl2: )

Right now they are painted in fine NE winter rain with a nice protective covering of salt and general road dookie:

Clean-ness is so temporary this time of year.

The wheels were a custom, one-off color from the guys at http://www.rimpro.com - it was an experiment that went right.

Right now there is only one other car in the country with the same color wheels, a gentleman named Terra owns it over on BF.C.

As long as the 547s are sleeping their winter-unmolested slumber in storage, the winter wheels can DIAF for all I care.

I wasn't sure if Estoril Blue was the best color out there but now that I've seen your car it looks pretty good. I think the color of the wheels really helps bring out the blue, makes the car look especially powerful. Very nice.

Well, of course the car is now covered in NE filth, but so be it. My friend Carmen and I were out shooting pics of his 04 M3, and I tried to get some low-light moving shots of my car with the camera set to it's highest ISO but I set the ISO too high and the result was all grain:

My girlfriend and Carmen's girlfriend in my M3:

And while I am at it, here are pics and a 16 MB Video of Carmen's 04 M3 (http://www.ziplink.net/~ctroiane/pics/carm-sat/bpg-c.mpg). Carmen's car looks, sounds, and runs fantastic.

Looks good, but I noticed that you've got a '97 M3 yet you're rolling the older non-staggered '95 M3 stock rims. What gives?

Carmen's car is so much faster than mine, both on the straights and on any back road, that there really is no comparison. My car is no slouch, but Carmen's car is in another performance world altogether.

I traded my OEM doublespokes for a set of OEM 95 M3 doublespokes because the 7.5" wide 95 wheels fit the 225 Nokian snow tires perfectly.
