How Neccessary Are Reinforcements for M3 E36

hope someone can help. i was wondering how important are the reinforcements for the m3 e36 for the front and rear? is this only for the m3 or for all of the e36 models?

I have only seen it happen once or twice on the E36's, but when it does, it's bad. It wouldn't hurt to put the reinforcements in.

95's should retrofit the fronts strut tower reinforcement plates. All e36's should get the z3 style or an upgraded rsm to protect the shock towers.

I have seen two E36 M3's blow out their rear shock towers.
