Tamu -- wow that's sweet. Agree with you re mods -- can't find one I wouldn't want done at some point.
Agree with Salty -- do a cheap one way ticket to TX and drive her home. You'll regret any little scratch or dent if you don't. Take a couple of days and enjoy getting to know your sweet new M3!
I'd been meaning to send that link around to -- good source of intell on M cars.

Yes, the deck has internal memory so you can remove the navigaion cd and play a music cd. I'm pretty sure that the deck is connected to the stock 6disk changer in the back. Here is the link to the user group that the owner gave me http://www.waycoolinc.com/z3/01/081501/becker.html. They made this unit for Porshe and other cars, however the one I have is for BMW since it says "BMW" on startup and the wiring harness. I'm still a little leary about driving the car home since its 1600 miles back. I'm also in school so Id have to go on a friday and drive back the whole weekend. I think it would be about 22 hours of driving total. The earliest I can have access to the car is this Monday. And then add 7-10 days shipping. To get the best plane ticket to fly however I would have to wait a few weeks and pay a little more anyway because a lot of fridays are already full on some airlines.

Becker built the unit for BMW. I have one and love it! There is no NAV screen, the unit just shows arrows and talks to you (I like it much more then a NAV screen, looks very clean) in a British accent (one of seven voices that you can have for it!).
If anyone is interested in one, I say follow the link in the post above and give Tony a call; well worth the price.
Very, very nice car by the way!

Man, youve got to watch out with these shipping companies. I almost went with this one company called NationWide auto transport & Carrier. Luckily I did a BBB check on the company---THEY HAD AN F Rating!! The report said stuff like failure to pick up cars and multiple claims in excess of $1000 in damage!

I've had two E36 M3's and had to fly to pick up both of them. Honestly, the trip there and back was half the fun of buying the new ride. It was kinda cool flying there with no luggage and just straps of cash in my pockets, showing up at the dealership in a taxi, and then having a fun little roadtrip back home in my new car.
