Hey I have a 1999 M3 with a factory alarm installed recently. Everything works fine with it except I was wondering if the lights should flash when it locks or unlocks. Mine does not flash. Also, I thought it would be pretty easy to make them flash in sync with the chirps. Anyone done this or have ideas??

Facotry E36 alarms, both versions, did not have this option.
I think I have heard through the grapevine that people have tied their side marker lights into the power feed of the actual bullhorn. However, if you do this, you risk overloading the control module and shorting it out. -

Yea man I have a 99 coupe and my dad has the 99 conv. and neither had it...the way i thought about hooking it up was exactly how you described it but i also considering the power draw with the light then. Anyone tried this??Comment
