    Aftermarket Suspension Install Q

My car is going to be completed within the next couple of days from my accident, and I had a question.

I have the following suspension upgrade: Bilstien Sprt Shocks w/ Racing Dynamic springs.

The initial problem with my ride, was that my suspension was so off, that it ate through a pair of tires in 4500 miles.

I spoke to the body shop today, and when doing the final alignment, they said that since it was lowered, it would never perfectly align with BMW spec and they needed a new front steering knuckle?, to get it as close as they can...

My question is: Am I screwed with my current suspension setup...

If I am should I document performance and blame the body shop or do the unthinkable...any feedback to me or info to the body shop is appreciated...

PS I bought the car this way

why would you align a lowered car to bmw specs? Makes no sense.

You don't need anything but the correct alignment settings. 0 toe or slight toe in, in the front. Under -2 degrees in the rear, 1/16 toe in per side.
