OBC Display?

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can change the brightness of the display on the OBC. Mine seems to be bright sometimes and dull at other times. I know it has a little to do with the light outside, but sometimes it is an awesome amber color, but other times it isn't that great.

The dimmer switch on the dash for the rest of the dash lights. If it keeps going bright/dark, check the bulbs.

How can you check the bulbs, and aren't they LED's?

The OBC isn't a LED display, more of an LCD. It is backlit by tiny lightbulbs. You can check the status of your blubs by pulling out the OBC unit. There should be a hole in the center of the bottom of the OBC. You can access it from your sunglasses din right underneath it. Just stick your finger in it to gain some leverage and wiggle the OBC out. You should be able to access the bulbs from the back of the OBC now. Just pull them out and check them like any old light bulb. Hope that helps.
