Does your Climate Control noise when off?!

My Climate control seems to have a little problem when it is off I hear the fan that cools down the elctronics. I always hear it spinning when the AC is off, even when the car is off.

DO you guys hear this humming sound too?? :chair:

I heard that too when I was replacing the headlight switch last weekend. Not sure what it is, but it's not very loud and I don't hear it all the time.

It is supposed to do that. Toward the back of the climate control unit there is a little fan that pulls cabin air through the vents in the front. It allows cabin air to pass over its internal thermostat enabling better readings for the automatic climate control. It runs for a minute or two after the car is off as well.

Its annoying, especially when I driving with the radio off. I guess Ill take a look at it to see if there is any dust/debri build up on it.

You shouldn't really be able to hear it while driving. I suspect yours may be dirty. Luckily it's not hard to clean.
