M3 Fantastic!

I took my M out on the highway yesterday to "blow it out", per the suggestion of the BMW dealer to help it pass NC inspection, too many hydrocarbons. Anyway this car absolutely ROCKS! I had no idea it was so freakin fast! I have a 2004 WRX, but there's not much comparison over 80 mph. The M just keeps pulling, I went from 90 to 125 mph in what seemed like a blink. I'm not sure if I was scared or excited, but my heart-rate was jumping. I guess the car actually scared me, jeez what a rocket! :thumbsup: I've only owned it a couple of weeks so I really have'nt had a chance to "test" it. I hope to have it re-inspected next week.

Due to the VANOS system, you get the feel of F/I at higher speeds, I too am amazed when I am crusing along at 70 or so and shift to 4 th to pass something and find myself doing 120 in a blink of an eye. I beat an EVO on I-95 doing this and the EVO guy just threw his hands up when I kept inching away at 120.
