There is a new Toyo called a T1-R. I would imagine it has some improvements over the T1-S. The only negative I have heard about the T1-S is that it gets a little noisy half way through it's life. I have had great service out of the set I have run on My VW Corrado. Dry roadholding is not at the absolute top of the field...but this only applies if the car is tracked. To overdrive this tire on the street is asking for a beating at the hands of pissed off police. Rain performance is fantastic.
