    M3 lightweight wheels

Hey, does anyone know where I can pick up some E36 Lightweight wheels, polished alloy, with motorsport imprinted on the front of them or even better in an 18" format. Ebay has a replica of it but they are only 7.5 inches wide front and rear, I am looking for 8-9" on the same wheel.

You can't get the LTW's with the 'motorsport' stamped into them and get them polished. It's one or the other.

OEM sizes are 7.5 front and 8.5 rear for the staggered setup, 17" only.

Sirius is right; what your looking for probably doesn't exist, and if it does, it'll only be a replica.

2 different types of Motorsport LTW wheels.

1995 only; painted forged 5 double spoke with BMW MOTORSPORT embossed around a flat area that surrounds the center. these are painted silver, came staggered in 7.5 and 8.5 widths with 17 inch size, all are 41 mm offset. these were standard on the 1995 M3 Lightweight and also were available as an option on late 1995 M3s.

1996+ are polished, have 5 double spokes, have a little "M" emblem stuck in a depression near the center of the rim, and BMW MOTORSPORT is no longer embossed around the center. These are polisehd and forged and were optional on all 96-99 E36M3s. Staggered size of 7.5 and 8.5 width with 17 inch size and all 41 mm offset.

Know what you want and know what you are asking for when you find some for sale.

          Regards,

          Marc

95M3 with 95 LTW rims, staggered

Oh, I have the polished LTW's btw. I got them from BMW, of couse at the time of purchase I was working for BMW so I got a pretty good deal on them, probably about $600 off normal price.

actually there are stamped polished ltw wheels. They were only available on the M3 GT, ultra rare.

No work atm. Back under the rent's care so I can finish college up and get a real job, I have fooled around far too long now.
