New M3 owner! (with pics 56k OK)

Hey everyone. I'd like to introduce myself 1st. I'm Erik, 26 from (origanally Miami) but I'm in the Air Force stationed in Shreveport, LA. Well I'm a Honda guy and have been for many many year. I have a fully built Turbo Integra-R that'll be making close to 600whp here in less then 2 weeks. I just bought a 1997 M3. I have always loved the M3 and I got a really good deal on it.

Let me know what you guys think of it and if you think I got a good deal or not. I paid $14,500 for it. I have no clue about M3's or BMW's as a whole I can't lie. I'll be doing allot of reading/searching on here. If any of you have any pointers for me, good readings on it ect. please feel free to point me in the right direction. Anyway also if someone would run a car fax for me that would be sweet. thanks and please give any inputs/comments on the car.

It's got H&R springs lowerd .75 inches, full SS exhaust, ghetto Intake. Also it has smoked out parking lights, side markers and aftermarket HID's. He's got another set of wheels he is giving me with it. Something in 18's...not sure what they look like. I guess it really didn't matter.

    The VIN number is wbsbg9325vey75566

thanks in advanced for any help

Congrats on the new car

However, I see a couple things wrong in the pics...

For one, the nose panel is from a 92-96 E36 (the nose panel then changed in 97) you might want to check if the car has been in an accident.

Secondly, 96 and up M3s are supposed to have staggered wheels, and by the looks of the pic, it looks like you have 17x7.5 all around.....but if he's giving you an extra set of rims, it probably doesnt matter.

wow so that front end isn't a 97 model? Can anyone hook a car fax for me? I know he had the whole front end repainted by one of the best shops in Dallas do to 100k miles of rock chips. O yeah btw it has 100k miles I didn't care tho I loved it and still do. I pick her up in Dallas today so I get a got 170 miles of highway driving to get a ok feel for the car. I don't know about the front head lamps tho. I'm taking it they come in either plastic or glass? I'll make sure to ask him about the front tho :?

Also sorry the inside is all black too. The leather is showing aging sings. I'm going to try and wipe them down everyday and try and cure them a bit but if not I plan on getting them re wrapped. I hate cracked looking leather anyway. Thats one of the few and only things I plan on doing to it. Wheels, fix the seats and that's about it

Not the entire front end, just the chrome around the front grills. The chrome on the '95s doesn't stick out as much as the '96+.
